    Wellll, I'm late on the :Welcome: but it's sincere. When the weather getz better in 'bout another 6 months we'll have to compare finz. IF I have the Batwagon back home by then.:cry: I like the purple '47 too. Many memories of riding-driving ah yellow woodie one of those ah hundred yearz ago.     Sounds good. What part of "Detroit" are you located? I'm in Livonia but I'm cruzn all over the place especially in the summer.

    BTW, you know the Chrysler Museum is closing at the end of the month right? There's a group of us going on Saturday Dec 29th if you're interested.

    Denise! Great to see you here! When I first saw your post, I was afraid you'd sold Big Olds. Glad that didn't happen. Cancer has had me down for a few years, not quite as active, but gettin' better. Got to this place because my daughter wanted a wagon project to do with her daddy..........her 67 Chevelle wagon is at my place, needin' a complete redo..........Great to hear from you again. Stay active here, I love your car travel stories............

    Do you know a John Taylor with a red '32 roadster, lives in your area? Also, I sold a second '47 Oldsmobile convertible to another guy in Queensland so you should be seeing that around in the next year or so.



    Great to hear your back on track Bill and that you're doing a wagon with your daughter. Will watch for build thread.

    If I get some time perhaps I'll do a wagon story or two here and see how they go over.

    I dig the '60 Pontiac wagon. Then again I always liked the big '60's Pontiacs.
    It looks like a nice solid car. (y) Great score!
    A guy I bought a bunch of body parts from had a '62 Catalina wagon that he was getting ready to do a 428 swap. I don't think he ever succeeded...he apparently died several months later. I wonder what ever happened to this wagon and his treasure trove of cool cars and parts.
    Is that also a pic of your '47 Olds. I love that body style. They make great customs. Sorry for my rambling. :oops:

    Yes that's a photo of my purple '47 Oldsmobile. It's my favorite bodystyle. LOVE those fat fendered cars. lol
