Great job on posting pic's. I can't believe there are so many Station Wagons. Amazed at the Ford Squires and Mercury Colony Park woodies there. I have been looking for years for the rear tailgate chrome escrutchen on the black 64 colony Park. pic. 7. Also the green 64 falcon 1/4 and door fiberglass trim in picture 5. and really can't believe there is still a 57 Mercury Colony Park hiding in the background with what appears to still have most of the fiberglass rail trim on it. pic' 32. Wow! I wish I were closer. Great job on the pic's. Thanks. :bouncy:

I kept trying to convince my "sherpa" the son of a friend of mine who spends much time at that yard that he could supplement his income nicely if he would just start gently removing trim and offering it for sale.

Yes that would be great. I am sure he could do well. I realize most of the sheetmetal, and probably most of the potmetal chrome trim is not the best. But could still possibly be used. Even some of the cars look to be very restorable as well to save. There are some really rare cars in those photos that you were good enough to post.

I know the cost would be worth it to me on some of the parts items.
The fiberglass rails and trim on some of these woody cars at the least should really be saved for future restorations. Once their gone....:whew:

Sorry I'm not looking at a wagon right now, didn't see any midsize GM stuff in the pics, but saw the red Mustang in this pic. Any more info on it? Need some interior stuff for a 71-73 Mustang, especially for a fastback if this is one.

    Thank you for any info,
    Tom

As long as expirable image hosting services are used, we'll never know what was in most of these images. Here's a Citroen DS convertible:

Still, as Poison-Ivy wrote, even the internet forums is temporary. I've posted photos lots of places then the photo host disappears, so the photos do too.
In a few more years forums will be nothing except red X's like X's in Texas, all but forgotten.

The old two-tone Chevy panel truck in lane one got my attention. It appears to be a pre-52, no vent windows and dual lights in the rear doors.
    My zoomer zooms very little.

Better than no panel truck at all, Sir. This is what immediately came to mind, when I saw that image:

Good eye. If you hadn't caught it, I would have gone on drooling over an old DS which might still be in some garage or barn nearby.
On some of those sights, you have to formally register and choose the option to where the photos remain archived. I've stored photos, for years, on Photobucket and they're still there. I've got a back-up site which is supposed to be reliable for long-term storage: http://postimages.org/
