Well, its been a long time and I am very sorry for not getting in touch sooner. Things been tight here, saving up to get the family home, tickets bought and will be landing 10:25am on 1/1/13 in Detroit. Have not had any internet and this is the first time I have been online in a good 6 months. Been roughing it, saving every penny I can to buy the plane tickets. Lost my aunt 6 weeks ago to her 2 year fight with cancer, my uncle, her husband just passed away last wed from a massive heart attack while at work, was a life long logger and died doing what he loved, in the middle of a cut on a cherry tree, he fell over dead instantly. He was only 58. To keep busy when not working, I got myself into bow hunting, my lifelong bestfriend and cousin, gave me his old Bear Whitetail 2 bow and got me into archery. I took me a 8 point during archery and 3 doe during rifle season. I engulfed myself into hunting to keep my mind busy during the 9 months of hell of being away from my family. Also been working on building up the 360(.060 over 350) for my cousins 72 Chevelle, getting the body on his 75 Chevelle ready for me to lay down the paint in spring. Im still driving my $400 Craptastic Crapmaro that I got back in March, she has been a good girl to me. Only had to invest in a set of brakes for the rear, a exhaust pipe and a thermostat. Runs like a champ, gets me 24mpg. I lucked out on this purchase. I found a wagon I am dying to get, a 84 AMC wagon that looks to be in great shape. I wanna go look at it this weekend if its still available. So I am sorry if any of you have been worried about me. Im still alive and kicking. Missed you all something fierce. I been doing all I can to stay busy and keep my goal in site and straight infront of me. Now that the tickets are paid for, i can afford the finer things in life, like my newly hooked up DSL that was setup today when I was at work. So Im BACK!
Wow!! Great to hear from you Scott! Sounds like you've been real busy, and with a goal of reuniting your family, you had some excellent motivation. You're going to have to cruise the old posts a bit to see what's been going on. Got some new family members, and some new wagons, too..... Great to have you back. Marshall
Welcome back! Figured you were up to your eyeballs in repatriation; glad to hear things are progressing!
HOME, Scott. We kept your seat warm. Glad to hear you are on track to get the family back home. Best wishes to you.
Good to see you're still around, and working to get settled. Hope to see you here more again now. Keep us in the loop! -Mike

Safe travels coming and going from the Motor City on New Years Scott. 'Tween Cleveland and Erie can get dicie that time of year. The wind comin' off Lake Erie usually is very un-kind to the environs around Ashtabula
