The real kick in the jaw is that Hostess told the union, if they reject the offer Hostess gave, the company WILL fold.

The union recjected it anyways calling Hostess bluff. It wasnt a bluff.

The company files for bankruptsy and is now going into liquidation , 18,5000 more people are jobless and I cant buy my favorite snacks anymore.

Nobody wins, we all lose. But id bet the farm the rank and file Hostess worker would much ratrher be employeed then rejecting offers. Too late now.

Ive always hated Unions. They have outlasted their usefulness.

I liked Ding Dongs. The Union killed off my favorite snack cakes. Amnd yes I did work them into my budget. Id buy them from time to time

Never ever got into the fast food Hostess type off foods for some reason so no big deal to me, I dout I've had a twink or any of the other cakes since the 70's to be honest. I didn't know Hostess is going under, I honestly figured the way the world loves crap like that it would have been the only safe thing to invest in!:rofl2:

But don't panic, you can make them your self

Never had a Twinkie? Never had a Snowball? They came in vanella, chocloate, and pink strawberry.
Never saw a Snowplow on an Escalade???
How far in the sticks do you Canadians live? :49:

I don't even want to talk about unions. At least when I worked I only needed one job, my wife stayed home and raised kids, and no one we knew was on State Aid.
