so, my mom takes the dog out today right as im about to get in the shower. she runs back in and says "theres a fire" now at this point i didnt know what apartment building it was in or anything. luckily, it wasnt in my building but it was still bad. one unit was a total loss and 3 others were heavily smoke damaged. 4 fire companies come up. and none of the hydrants in the complex worked. i ended up being on the news and talking about it to the reporter. heres the pics.
Hope nobody was hurt. Looks like it got quite a hold, too. Any word on why the hydrants weren't working? That really sucks! Glad you and yours came throu just fine!
yes everyone made it out fine, and lol, nope i didnt light it! unit that it started it in, her young kids were playing with matches and lit a blanket on fire and didnt tell her till it was to late. aftermath pic:
Did you manage to get in a plug for your race car while you were on TV? A good racecar driver would have taken a big drink of Coke and told them how good his car and team were.
very brutal indeed. angels were watching over everyone yesterday for sure. no race car plugin sadly. i was too shooken up to even think of that, lol. and yeah, it spread pretty rapidly. and we have no clue why they werent, hope to find out soon though. some next day pics. inside a room that the door was shut. thats how bad it was. so bad it totally burnt the metal. heres the link to the news article where i talk. http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2012...ntial-damage-to-south-park-apartment-complex/
