Bad pics for the most part - can't see much of the wagon itself. Seller should have at least cleaned it up a bit. All this gives me the impression that the seller is a speculator that wants to make as much money as possible on a quick turn-around. I would also be very hesitant to believe anything he says.
This one may be as nice as the price indicates, but no way of telling from the pictures. One thing is for sure, and that is that this wagon does have a lot, if not all, the important options that add value. Based on the pics, the interior does look very nice, so there is every chance the outside is in good shape as well. I'm thinking maybe the price should be 7-8,000 unless this one cleans up REAL nice.
That's the thing. If you want to ask top dollar for a car, clean and detail it inside and out and take lots of good photos. This may be a great Country Squire, but you cannot tell from these pics.
I sorta like the '68 's.. 11.5 is wayyyyyyyy too much.. MikeT's 7/8 G is still too much... Seal of right rear door is hanging out, Wood should be replaced cus it is not good to getting worse, Interior is 'chalking', Seat is ripped,, chrome is not very good, needs motor work as using oil,, and lastly,, If a person is going to list a car for sale FIRST impression is very important !! Clean the gawd damn car BEFORE pics you idiot..... I would wonder what kind of care/maintenance has been provide when I see a car listed that appears as tho was used for a desert runner..... You don't have time to wash it then I don't have time to buy it !!!! .
This seller obviously isn't familiar with the market - anything over $5000 should buy it. The 428 helps, but the overall appearance screams "tired" and you can bet the drivetrain is the same.
