Oh my....the auction ends tonight. Bidding now up to $8900. Better hit the bank if you're planning to get a bid in on this one.
So, Krash, have you bought the white '81 Pontiac Bonneville Safari that has been posted previously on the forum? That one always has looked like a beauty.
Yes, I am buying it - it's just slow going. Cashier's check I sent for the purchase has been received by the seller. Now has to clear his bank. Shipper is tentatively set to pick up the wagon Friday the 23rd or later. I will hopefully have it around the end of the month.
The 88 Electra is my favorite. I think they are gorgeous. I loved mine and the 455 fit in there nicely. This one could use the wheel upgrade. Still a beauty, though.
Worth every penny. You could spend twice as much on a new car and you get this: Sticker Price $18,395 and it's not even half the wagon that Electra is.
IMO, that's not even a wagon...... I was reading a thread on the Bonneville forum from a guy who sold his '05 Bonneville GXP, (that did have a few miles on it...) and bought a slightly-used Caliber SRT, just because it had a 6-speed in it. Even with a lot more miles, I would much rather drive that GXP......
