Looks very nice. Wonder what the bolts are for in the dash picture? And I would have done something different with how the battery is mounted. But, for $4,300 that would be a great buy. Wonder if the wife wants to do another road trip????

Took me about 3 minutes to find what you were talking about......

Nice wagon. Says it's advertised locally. I looked in the Columbus CL, but couldn't find it. This might be one to just skip all the E-bay rigamarole and buy it direct from the owner.

I'm curious about what you're talking about. I see only one photo of the engine compartment, and it doesn't show the battery. I see only one minimal photo of the dash showing the right side through the steering wheel, and I don't see any bolts. Are there additional photos somewhere?

Oh. Those bolts are just laying there. I was looking for something ATTACHED to the dash! :)

I still don't see what he's talking about with the battery.

It's always interesting to see how 1970s cars are optioned. This one is loaded with power everything and even has the fiber optic exterior lamp monitors, yet it has the standard black seat belts rather than the optional deluxe color-keyed belts. Funny. :hmmm:

I see the bolts now, thank you. The battery does look like it might be tilted or something in the little piece of it we see in the picture?:tiphat:

Yes, it looks like the battery was just thrown in there real quick, and the bolts on the left hand side of the dash appear to be fender bolts, maybe he threw a battery in real quick and had to remove the fender brace to do it. That would explain the bolts, and it appears to be a derby guy as there is an Imperial in the background of a coupl of the pictures

im gonna politely oppose that. just because he has another old car on his property doesnt mean hes a derby guy. because also in some of the pics you can see a 70's chevy pickup. maybe he just likes old cars!:tiphat:

This is a really really nice wagon.

Locally advertised doesn't always mean CL. Locally advertised might just mean there's an index card on the bulletin board at the local IGA.
