If the pump runs thats most of your battle. the air line runs down the drivers side of the car and T's off to go to each rear air shock. spray each shock down with soapy water in a spray bottle to find the leaks. The connection from the line to the shock is usually the culprit. Check the T Also. If no part of the system is leaking, you may have to replace the shocks, or it could be the release mechanism in the pump hanging up. I havent had to work on that particular part, but know they can stick and cause a leak. to answer your question, its a fairly basic system of pump, vinyl air lines, plastic connectors and the shocks.
On a wagon the compressor is mounted under the car on the drivers side rear forward of the rear axle. There should be two air lines coming off the inboard side of the compressor, one for each shock. X2 on it's good that the compressor runs. Most of the the time if the compressor cycles on and off it's leaking fittings or a shock leaking air internally.
you guys awesome, it's drizzling here, mother nature suppose to be freindly later in the week, i'll soap her up and bubble hunt. really need garage, someday soon i hope. thanks again
Sorry, i was giving info for a box wagon. The round ones are much easier, you can see 99.9% of the tubing
