Went to Fall Carlisle for a few hours today. Barely covered any territory at all in the short time I was there. But I did take some pictures, and you'll find a few interesting wagons for sale among the photos I took in the car corral section. Most of the real nice cars were over at the RM Auctions building a few blocks away. I never made it over there, but did notice a 57 Old Fiesta wagon when I drove past. But I didn't get a picture of the Olds. Here are the pictures I did get today. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.426094167437639.91628.100001111775214&type=1&l=4f4ff8b9d9
My buddies in Harrisburg went Friday. No pics yet, but am hoping som e will be in m y Inbox at work on Monday. I MISS the Carlisle shows....they're outstanding!
I live in Virginia, only 2 hours drive from Carlisle. Every winter I think I want to move to Florida to get away from the cold weather and to be closer to family. But, my closeness to Carlisle is one of three things (in addition to my friends and my job) that keeps me here.
I used to live in Northern Virginia and always went to Carlisle. Living in Florida now I realize what fun Carlisle and Hershey were. I just got home from the local monthly swap and it paled in comparison. Still gotta' love being away from cold and snow, though.
Thanks 4 the Jim! I think this is the Fiesta Jim referred to. http://www.auctionsamerica.com/events/feature-lots.cfm?SaleCode=FC12&ID=r166
