This one is back and now priced to sell. 455 V8 and 3rd seat. Interior looks just gorgeous. http://madison.craigslist.org/cto/3285877241.html
It does look nice....nice way to take pics. I'll be the first to say it's clean,REALY CLEAN, but it's rusted, REALY rusted! Owner says he won't provide more pics, come see....... Even blury when I blew up the pic......cancer......
I was seriously curiously interested... however, if the rust on the drivers side is any indication, than the passenger side is sure to be worse. It's unfortunate 'cause I'm really drawn to this green and parchment combo. I even started making a list of restoration costs to make this Safari super nice. That is, until Fat Teddy enlarged that side profile shot. Chris
This car was purchased today by a friend of mine. It now resides in Rockford Illinois. He bought it for his wife. He drives a very clean 76 caprice. Also has a 74 impala coupe in teh body shop right now. That one is a pretty sweet ride, has a TPI 350 in it. Needles to say the wagon went to a good home!
Glad it got a good home! Hopefully he can start on those rust issues before they get worse. I remember when this car was for sale before, with small pics. I remembered I really liked it. I love the 73 Safari wagons. The engines in these cars are awesome, I have a 73 Grand Ville sedan I have owned for years... its been a great car, but starting to need restoration.
