I visited a new yard Sunday. They actually had a Roadmaster, a Caprice and lots of little GM wagons. I scored an elusive B-body wagon spare tire cover screw fastener and an actual intact underhood light lense so I was glad I went. My wife pointed them out, I forgot I even needed them. She points out the parts I walk right by at automotive swap meets too. '92 RMW '82 Malibu '91 Cutlass Ciera, the car was really clean, too bad. '93 Buick Century '92 Cutlass Ciera '92 Caprice, that grill looked like it was real nice before somebody tried to tear it off. 1970 Poncho, not a wagon... but cool nonetheless.
Wow, that looks more like a used car lot than a junkyard. A lot nicer than the junkyard around here. It seems like most of those cars had plenty of life left in them.
It is more like a used car lot, some of the cars look like they could be driven away, especially the Cadillacs. Cash for clunkers is the reason a lot of those are there. The yard is near Akron, Ohio. I'll be heading back down there this weekend if the rain holds out.
thanks, about 3 1/2 hr ride from my house, salvage yards in my area only keep 2000 model stuff everything else crushed. haven't been in akron area in long time, road trip in future. i was told circleville ohio had several good salvage yards, anyone been their.
