Hi guys, new from Memphis. Been thinking about getting a wagon for a while and came across a decent enough one that I had to pull the trigger. Its a 65 Falcon Futura Wagon with the 200ci straight 6 and 3 speed cruise-o-matic. It does have some rust issues like the cargo floor and the corner above the rear side windows on both sides, other than a bit of surface rust and bumper dings its pretty straight and runs like a top. Well like a slow, heavy top that barley has enough power to get out of its own way. Its destined to be a cruiser anyways so no motor swap coming anytime soon, probably just a few things to pep it up a bit. For the cargo floor I been throwing the idea around of a hardwood floor like the older pickup beds used to have, anyone done anything like that on here, would love to see some pics. Well that's enough for now.

:Welcome: Glad you found a nice little wagon. With the fuel costs this may be a wise idea and still a fun cruiser. As long as there's room for a few friends and some BBQ that's all that matters.

Welcome aboard! As for the wood floors, I would try to get floor pans if they're available - you'll be time and $ ahead in a short amount of time.

Nice to see some Memphis representatives on the board. Thats a nice cruiser you got there, those bubble wagons are what first got me liking the wagons about 5 years ago and have been after one since.

Thanks again guys. So I had a box of laminate wood planks laying around from redoing kitchen and threw them on the cargo floor to get feel of what it would look like. Of course this is without any trim holding it down and if I were to do it I would want the real hardwood or at least thicker laminate floor but this was just to get a look at, so what you guys think.
