Before I saw the pics, I was ready to make fun of the car (isn't "Nice Pacer" an oxymoron?), but after seeing it and thinking about a straight-6 with 4 speed, my opinion changed. It's kinda cool and unique!

I used to have one in 1988 and it had a really good comfortable ride with it's wide wheelbase. I remember I was disappointed in the mileage, I think it got in the 17-19 range. I was expecting more from a 6 cyl. Our main problem with it was that it was a leaker. As the valve cover extended back under the windshield, it was a impossible to replace the gasket in one piece without pulling the motor. Our mechanic ended up making a cut in the back side of the gasket to get it between the valve cover and engine. Other than that, I liked the car, it was unique!

I'm with Scout, I usually don't care for Pacers, but that one is really rather good looking. (y)
