I'm sorry but I cringe when I see rust poking out from beneath trim moldings. :yikes:

I think that this one is priced about $4000 to much!

    73 Olds Custom Cruiser

    OMG !!!!
This is the very same 73 Olds Custom Cruiser that was for sale last
year and looked STUNNING !!!! Loaded to the gills. It's in the olds picture
gallery. Someone on the board here knows the car and turned it down a few
years back. I think it was at $12,000.00 back then. WHAT A SHAME !!!!!!
This car used to be STUNNING !!! I assume it was left-out and baked in the
sun. The Wood-grain looks terrible. SAD...............

Here's the one Mopar... is talking about:
    1973_oldsmobile_custom_cruiser_station_wagon4.jpg

It's on page 4 of the 'Oldsmobile' section of the gallery.

Mopar - how are you sure it's the same wagon? Looks identical, but........

But is the key word....."But it's NOT the same wagon". I thought of this one as soon as I saw the other.

I think it IS the same wagon. The owner's CL posting for this wagon last year (asking $12k) featured the very pics shown above. Its condition seems to have worsened since then. Very sad.

(BTW, you can tell they're the same car because the distinctive damage to the rear window rubber appears the same on both cars.)

I followed this car for Many months with the idea of maybe buying it. I
even asked why he changed-out the whitewall tires last year and he said
these blackwalls were MUCH better tires. So, alas, it is indeed that
Beautiful Wagon that Marshall posted a picture of. It's just a shame.
I mean to buy an every-day driver and let it get weathered is one thing.
But this car really was pristine. Oh well................

The wagon for sale is weathered big time, way more than a year'ish can do. Same colour combo, but no way the same wagon, no way

Perhaps those pics we have in the gallery are much older than we think........

    Tedy,
Check-out the fact that even when the car looked nice, it had a
" weathered " spot on the upper right side of the tail-gate. Very noticeable
in Both sets of pictures. But, Marshall has a very valid point. I am not quite
sure exactly how old the gallery photos are...???????

Based on all photos available, I believe it is the same car. The same 1973 OCC with the same color and rare options like cornering lamps, wire wheel covers and power antenna. Highly unlikely.

It is burning up in Florida without a garage. Doesn't take all that long unprotected.

I agree. It does have a cool-looking dashboard, though.
