Looks good. Question I've always had about these. Do the wing windows actually work or are they stationary?

Those wing windows were a $187.00 option, and yes, the operate. I will always remember the price of those wing windows, since they were $2 more than the price of the optional 351W!

No way to drive straight to the mainland from Juneau, as it's on an island. You'd have to ferry to Anchorage and then drive from there on the Al-Can Highway, or ferry to Seattle and go from there.

That's one nice Country Squire there!

"Trouble" ? It sounds like a blast to me. One of these days I am going to buy an old car just as far away from me as possible and fly in and drive home.

Yep, and getting it home is not going to be inexpensive or quick. Yours will come up, within a reasonable distance you are willing to go. At least you are not in a hurry and forced to take something you are not comfortable with. At times I've jumped just a car or two early instead of holding off for the "almost perfect" one and regretted the outcome later.

Yeah, but a nice Alaskan cruise would be worth it, IMO. Cruise up, get the car, ferry to SEA, drive home! A nice little vacation, with the need of a rental car completely eliminated.
