First make sure everything is in good working order (springs, tierods, suspension bushings, etc.), then try some Bilstein shocks, a Ford Panther platform rear sway-bar (CrownVic, TownCar), and Air-Lift bags in he rear coils to take the place of the factory air shocks. Maybe a 9C1 (Caprice police package) front sway-bar as well. This will still give you a nice ride, but it will make it feel more stable. This is the setup I have on my '94 BRMW and it rides nice. You can go further, but it will start to lose the Buick ride.... And we don't want that now, do we.

An alternate option is Metco Control arms and either a stock sedan bar or aftermarket wagon bar. Neither of which hurt the ride and are complete bolt on.

when i rode with tom dutton on the waterford hills race course, i asked him what was done. it rode just slightly firmer than stock. and it cornered as flat as a bimmer. he said he had bilstein shocks, stock springs in the rear, 9c1 police car springs in the front that had been cut down, and a hotchkiss sway bar front and rear. 17" tires are a big help too. i had a caprice with impala ss wheels and monroe sev. serv. shocks. it handles noticeably better than my gran touring suspended roadmaster.
