    Examining the photos closely, I'd say only the last 2 photos are of the 2-door. The rest are clearly of the 4-door the seller also has.

    sad to see such neglect of these Mercs , hopfully someone has the time & energy to bring them back to their former status quo

    Didn't know its the same guy. Breaks my heart to see the mercs which would be well worth keeping up slowly rot away. Mercury made some wild designs in their lineup in the 50s and 60s. The angled tail lamps, the passenger cars of the early and mid 60s with the breezeway rear windows with no concern over exhaust fumes .... designers back then working for mercury had some strange ideas for enginering cars. Unlike today where cars all look the same until you look close at the badge on the grill back then you knew a mercury from a Ford from an Edsel from a Lincoln just by seeing it pass by on the road
