    Mechanical fan?

How can you tell from that pic it's a mechanical fan. Also, is the tow pack a desirable thing? There's no hitch so I don't think it's ever towed.

    Thanks

The greatest part about going over to Gainesville is seeing it in the rearview mirror!:rofl2:

You can tell from the top radiator support. Mine was a tow pack and I changed my fan back to the electric because with the mechanical setup it made it much harder to do things like just change the the main belt. I carry a spare for emergency and would be almost impossible to change on the side of the road where now it will just take minutes. I do like that I have the 2.93 rear gear that comes with the package tho and everything else that it comes with. Here is a pic of mine with the electric setup and ypu can see how easy it is to tell just by the top radiator support.

Welcome RMWB4. Your wagon is really clean with low mileage. Where did you find that gem? I too am a Roadmaster owner but I have to contend with the woodgrain. I think if I had ordered this in 1991, I would have opet out for the woodgrain option. Well good luck and if you get west, there are a few of us in Arizona.

:Welcome:to the wagon train, WB4. That wagon looks to be in beautiful shape!(y) Very nice looking wagon. Ancient has shown you the easy way to tell a tow pac Roady. The tow pac has the large fan cowl sticking up and the non-tow pac wagons do not. Nice score!
I gave you an answer over on your other thread about the pillar, too.:D

    Thanks,

Glad to be a wagon owner .... Last one was a Plymouth fury back around '76 . That was a real land yacht - I actually learned to drive on it. Maybe that's why I wanted one now - nostalgia.

    I think I got a good one.

Clean and low miles, very nice! Any chance you're gonna be willing to tell us what you paid for such a beauty?
