First move was a modified 79 LTD

Christmas Vacation employed an 89 Taurus (which, by the way, there was NEVER a Taurus wagon with wood grain)

It's the beautiful Wagon Queen Family Truckster - with the best sales pitch of all time (from Eugene Levy) - "you think you hate it now, but wait 'til you drive it."

There's a guy in my neck of the woods who made an exact replica - right down to the luggage on top and draggin the dog leash off the bumper. He races it at the Goodguys autocross and has won his class before. It's a riot watching that wagon rip around the course!

We have a member on here, 'Griswold' (what else), from Wheaton, Illinois who built a Wagon Queen Family Truckster replica. And he didn't just throw something together, either. He even went so far as to mold his own emblems for the wagon.

Remember about 3 years back, Chevy Chase and the WQFT were featured in some commercials for a motel chain? That was Griswold's wagon. The motel chain bought it from him for a nice price.
