Showed up at work today for a while to visit and take a few test they wanted me to take plus it gives me a chance to make a few hours. I have to see my Dr. again Wednesday and he suggest I take it easy until I see him again. Anyway I show up and Walter my mentor at work has been helping me with my wagon motor which has been fighting me from the begining. The heads had a bolt broke off in the exhaust so we tryed a easyout which broke in the head. The machine shop didn't want to fool with it so him and I would chip away at it a hour or so a day. Finally we got it out after a few days. That was a couple weeks ago so when I get there today he shows me with a big ole grin my heads with the new valve seals, valves lapped in and assembled ready to bolt on. Then I see my crankshaft sitting on his bench and he started polishing it. If I stay out another week maybe he will have my motor assembled for me :D Reminds me of my dad when he said"I figured I better do it because it is taking you too long to!" I couldn't help but laugh as I thanked him.
I am often told by co-workers they think I would talk to a stump if it would talk back. They said they have been missing my shananigans at work. Even the UPS man asked "Where's ZZ Top? Haven't seen him in a few days." (They tease me because of my long beard) It reminded me a simple "Hello" or a kind word makes a big impression on people. And if all else fails grow a beard like ZZ-Top :rofl2:because it is sure to leave a impression.:rofl2:

Those kind of repairs are the worst.
I had a good friend give up his car to a junk yard for merely a snapped off spark plug.:49:

:biglaugh:I hope you were referring to saying kind words. Which you do. And not you growing a beard fannie. Of course, we'd still love you with a ZZ Tops beard.:rofl2:
I might even use the CUTE word.

I like to think so. I tend not to take things personal life is too short. I have only been going to work 1 or 2 days in the last 2 weeks. Go back to dr. Wednesday since I got no relief. Went to work for 5 hours today. Glad to get out the house.
