I just brought home a 1970 impala kingswood wagon.
135,000 miles, original gold repaint, 350. I will be putting stock disc brakes on it to replace original drums. Soon it will have new front end, 4 springs, rear bushings and sway bar.

I feel very lucky to have found my first chevy keeper that is so clean. I am a long time Mopar guy, but the parts for them is just soo expensive!

The tires were flat spotted from sitting. I had some 15's and swapped them today. Drives better but needed shocks. Was installing shocks and found left wheel hub a little loose and tightened it up. The right hub has a outer bearing issue and will be replaced tomorrow.

The wagon has power drum,p/s, a/c, 3rd seat, manual windows. I was going to do a all over suspension job on it, but have decided to replace only needed parts and drive it some this summer. I will scatter it this fall instead.

I would like to put in a power seat track, maybe cruise control and a good am/fm factory radio.

It does have one maaco looking repaint. It is nice and straight.
