Hello my name is Eric. I live in reno Nevada have for all my life iam 19 years old and I have a 1965 ford country sedan with the 390 from the factory. a little bit about the car. My dad bought this car when he was my age for 1800$ cash back in 1986 with 37K miles on it. at 39K he rebuilt the motor and it was top notch. he put cruise in it so he could go down to LA it has been all over cali back in the early 90s. he then sold it to his dad my Grandpa for 1000$ with 60K on it. worse idea ever. my gpa turned it into an everyday car and its got 137k on it now. i remember riding around in it with him when i was a youngin and then it got parked in 2005 for about 7 years. It needed work he couldnt do due to disabilities. after 7 years of sitting i did the work. water pump, then fuel pump do to it sitting. floats in carb were stuck so i rebuilt the carb. new thermostat and houseing due to gpa having wrong one in there i discovered and it was constantly flowing. i fixed that then drove her home. i did the brakes and re timed her. guuna take out the points soon and convert to patronics. put a new vacum advance on due to old one not working. iam now gunna pull motor and do what my dad did back in 86. well thats alittle bit about the car any question feel free to ask. i will have pics up soon :):):D

Nice Country Sedan, welcome! The sheet metal and chrome appear to be in excellent condition. You will have her running like new in short order.

And with the chrome some dents in moldings but for the most part they are in good condition. All Windows excellent condition no cracks dings or chips.

I got my training from my dad he's always been into cars and by the time my dad was 14 he already rebuilt 2 motors. My dad is now 43 been wrenching his whole life espically A/C. He had his own A/C shop and has been with the company 30 years we work at a Ranshu we sell a/c parts. And have 5 warehouses across the us. He's restored a couple cars from rust bucket to show car including a 69 leman peterson Lincoln limosiune. He's done a lot so basically I have learned everything from my dad. We are members of LCOC Lincoln continental owners club. We go to the fabouls fords forever show. Rip caroll Shelby. But anyway my dad is where I've gotten my skills and Iam still learning.

Well, my hat is off to both of you....first your pop for taking the time to teach you stuff and second to you, for not assuming he's a "know nothing" adult over 35 and listening to him. Good Job!! :tiphat:

Drove a 65 country squire when I was a high school senior. My dad bought it for me. It had been used by a drug store to make deliveries.
