Well All, Here are some pic's of the 1978 Impalla Wagon I couldn't pass up!!!! It is a pretty base model car, that originally belonged to a Wyoming School District. Its only options are A/C (still works!!!!) 350 4bbl, Pwr rear window, 3rd seat, and 3 speaker AM radio. Tell me what you think, I personally think I stole it for $4250.00.

Thats a clean looking wagon! I find that the mags go well with the car. Is the paint original?

Thanks, I really love the clean lines, The paint is not original, it was reshot aprox 2 years ago according to the seller, I just can not believe how nice the car actually is!!!! The interior only has 1 tear in the back of the front bench seat, and that is really the only flaw!!! But it could use some tunes tough.

Even my wife likes this car, after we looked at it, a rough 73 Malibu, and a nice 91 Olds, she said "You are going to call the guy with the Tiki wagon back and make him an offer RIGHT!!!!"

It was about $1200 more than I was looking to spend, but it is easy to put that much into paint!!!

Nice wagon! For some new tunes you can always have a new radio with CD player installed in the glovebox. This way you don't have to cut up the dash. Or you could just pickup a factory AM/FM on eBay and upgrade the one in there now.

Wow! Beautiful wagon! Where do you find the boxy Caprices like these? It seems to me the really nice ones are getting harder to find!

Ill agree with Ratt, i looked and looked for a box Buick wagon, had to settle for a Caprice. Not quiet as nice as the one shown off here, but should be an easy restore.

    Nice find.

    Thanks,

I am sure you will enjoy your Caprice!!!!! I am extreamly happy with the way my 78 Drives!!!! I was going through the Reciepts, and found out besides the new tires & wheels, exhaust, it has new brakes front & rear (rt front sqeeks alot, so I will have to adress that) shocks, & recromed bumpers. The previous owner did spend alot of $$$ on it. Now all it needs besides the tunes, is a OD trans, and Power Locks. Neither of wich are in the budget near term.

I did find a few little details I missed when I 1st looked at it, like the headliner & sun visers will need atention. But my wife wan'ts to put Hibiscus seat covers on it. Then all it would need is a long board on the roof. Because the surfing is always good on Lake Erie.

I really like it. The rims look great on it. Just what I want as a daily driver had I not bought my truck out of necessity. Very nice.

Really clean! I find it worring that you guys say that it becomes harder and harder to find cars in such state. If you don't have them overthere, what do you think will be overhere???
It seems like I should not wait to long to get a classic back....
