I have been hesitant to post this, thinking I might need it for a little commuter. I received pictures of the inside and it is just as clean at the outside. I talked to the owner about the fuel pump issue. He said it leaks a little buts still runs. I believe the fuel pump to be easily accessed on this model (not in tank).

I thought it would sell the first day.

I bought 3 of those Loyalle wagons several years ago with the plan to strip one to the shell and restore/custom build it like i wanted (fuel injected, dual range 5spd, power everything, deluxe late 80's int.. etc) The FI one i was going to use needed a fuel pump so I bought one. Abandoned the idea when the solid shell i located and bought ended up being NOT when I gutted the interior (rear strut towers) and the 2 parts cars were 1) totaled and cut up 2) solid but no papers :banghead3: So frustration ended that idea and i sold em cheap but pulled that expensive pump first

Thanks.. May try it again someday.. kinda kick myself for practically giving everything away. The total was an '87 40kmi dual range.. doubt I could find another drive train doner like that :slap:

Yup...they are getting fewer and farther between all the time. I have been looking for a nice 82-89 hatch forever! The hatch backs are almost extinct! Nice ones, anyway.

Yea Subaru's and salt don't mix.. theres nothing up my way anymore and even the '96 to '02 Legacy wagons are rotting out bad.

My next Subaru will probably be a WRX Wagon.. someday

    Unless a solid/mint XT6 5spd falls into my lap.. that'd work too (y)
