ok how about some ideas for neat places to stop my trip will take me from so fla (side trip to corvette museum and summit racing) on to detroit then along the power tour . then home from arlington(side trip to dallas book depository museum) any other ideas from my wagon brothern?

 

I suggest you hit the database of Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives for places to eat along the way.

 

Don't even bother with the Food Network site. All ads, short clips, no meat and potatoes.

I'll be there from Miami to DFW. I just signed up today. Finding a hotel in Stillwater is impossible. I guess I'll be going to OKC. I'll be looking for you. my whole family will be in this machine...

I'm hoping to have black scallops on it before we go but we'll see.

 

I was at the final stop in 1999 and 2000 when they did a east coast and a west coast tour in 99 and in 2000 they just did the one trek. They stopped in Panama City Beach Florida it was really cool.

 

59 wagon man if you are coming back through central alabama make a stop at Talladega at the Motorsports Hall of Fame, they have other things instead of NASCAR, of course that is the meat and potatoes of it. If you decide to drop a line would love to meet you and see that wagon.

 

i was th inking of that on the way home just depends on how bad i jonesing to see my kids. i was there about 10 yrs ago

 

it's getting close less then a week till i leave. this time next week i will be getting ready to tour the corvette museum and assembly plant
