We just finished re-decking my bridge so we have access to the shop, its hidden out back and the old bridge was starting to show its age and I was getting nervous about hauling the trailer over it. It is now brand spanking new and the other outcome is I'm showing my age big time. What would have taken a weekend of work took my wife and I two weeks. Egads that reno stuff is hard on ya. Still can't use my arms above chest level and I did not fall through a ceiling like some people we know :slap:.

Next up, new roof on the house and the shop (eeks, do you know how much they want to replace shakes with shingles??????) Then new eaves troughs all around both buildings, replace the large swing gate to the back, and call the coronor to come pick up my corpse. My wife has actually jokingly put the coronors phone number on a sticky note by the telephone because I over do things, then crater for a day (or 2) and kind of push the envelope more than I'm supposed to. Just like every one of you do, too.

Dam Cat, is'nt it thr truth?

Saf, I know all to well about re-roofing. 3 layers on my garage are gona cost me a fortune to bin and dump...along with me paying guys to tear it off:slap:... it's happening very soon.

I did bring my new standing seam metal roof home last week though in 2 piles, free-cycled. Took me 2+ years of dumpster diving you could say, and I'll have 2 colours but WHO CARES!?!....I'm saving $$$$ and will have a hiden fastener metal roof that will live longer than me.:yup:

I have to big time thank my Boss:yup::tiphat::cheers:, he let me store my roof , piece by piece on his turf all this time.:tiphat: The lite shade will be on the 2 sides we see, the darker will be on the othere 2 as some panels are dented etc. The dented ones will be on the back, my niehbours will not see any dents.

My roof, in pile behind and on trailer as of last week.....
