The pin that holds the left tailgate hinge is broken. I have not removed the tailgate yet. Does anyone know if this is a bushing or just a bolt that holds it together as it must allow for movement when the tailgate is lowered.

I don't have my wagon here, but I do have the tailgate Arvid sold me, This part of the hinge slips right off with the tailgate removed. It appears to be the part in your picture. There are no threads on the end that is broken off in your photo.

Jim, thanks I do have a part number but I do not think it is a part that will be available. Seeing what you have there maybe I can make up something that will work. Right now I am replacing the rear brakes due to a wheel cylinder that leaked.

Good luck with the brakes and the tailgate. Wish I had my Plymouth wagon home to play with too.
