Post ALMOST anything you want thread

Another one of my unwise choices. We had way too many old cars, a motorhome, and a boat when we got ready to venture forth to our dream retirement place in Florida. Sold the things I figured I could sell fast. My favorite Harley Panhead with original tank shift, 55 Chevy 2-door 350 4-speed, and my favorite 57 Chevy 2-dr HT 327 auto. All sold too fast--probably too cheap.

Wow. But you have a nice 55 wagon. There is a place in SC that has one but it is really bad. The good part is we will be moving back South in a few months. Then maybe I can find a wagon. We have been looking on CL in Fl, there are too many big cities. I want a place where I can have a garden. So we might end up in NC which is where we are from.

 

We love NC, mostly the Blue Ridge pky areas. But settled on NW Florida for mostly warmer weather and still close enough to central Ill, to visit. Really never found what I always dreamed of or can afford.

 

We use to live in the Foothills of NC near Asheville we miss it there too so we have been looking in both states

 

Thanks, guys! Mom says that when I come to visit and the wagon comes up the driveway, he goes crazy! He knows who's come to see him

 

Stopped in Asheville once or twice to buy a bunch of old Chevy truck parts. Everywhere looks great until you've lived there awhile! Loved Daytona and Orlando till we saw how the other half lives! And you couldn't give me a place in Naw Leenzz!

 

REPLACEMENT WINDOWS

Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive, double-pane, energy-efficient kind.
Today, I got a call from the contractor who installed them. He complained that the work had been completed a year ago and I still hadn't paid for them.
Hellloooo,............just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast-talking sales guy told me last year... that these windows would pay for themselves in a year,,,
Helllooooo? It's been a year, so they're paid for, I told him..
There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally hung up. He never called back. I bet he felt like an idiot.

 

DANG! Why didn't I try that line when I put my windows in?

 

That's sort of like the buy one get one free deal.Or the 50% more free. You ever try to walk out of Wally World with your free stuff? I've even tried returning the extra one I didn't need for a refund. They always want the free one too! It ain't right!

Wait just a cotton picking minute! I remember seeing this pic of the mooses in the truck apparently driving and asked the question "what age are moose allowed to drive up there?" BUT I didn't notice they were also apparently drinking!
