Yeah, it's on my watch list. I've got a ton of things in my watch list that I just want to figure out what they'll sell for. Helps me get an idea for when/if I may need that item. In this cause it's just curiosity!
I like to insure the bid goes through. Plus sometimes I forget about the confirm bid window that pops up!
I checked my drive way and all the nieghbors' drives. I still didn't find my 1942 Mercury woody silverfox. A 1949 Merc woody will do if the other sale has been canceled.
oh...golly, Wally. You should keep looking! Even in other towns. Lots of other towns! oh.....and then, after you have searched for several weeks.....kindly refer to post #22 of this thread. Boy! This Merc drives GREAT!
Oh well, it was only a beat up old station wagon and it was only free money you coulda shoulda woulda won if you bought a ticket and won. I still sorta like you foxy. But I could have liked you even more. But with all that money and 1000's of long lost relatives and friends needing help you wouldn't have time for us lowlifes on here anymore!! It is all for the better that you and I are loosers!
Wheels can be changed! I like 'em alright. I wouldn't complain if someone gave me that car the way it is!
I've seen quite a few cars with wheels that to my eye don't suit the car, yet others almost swoon over them. A buddy put a set of eltrendo wheels on his '57 that I'm convinced make it look awkward at best, and certainly lock it in to a time frame that does not suit the rest of the car. But he thinks they are the best thing he's done to the car in 30 years and wasn't particularly impressed when I mentioned my opinion - oops. I agree with Andy, those wheels are not my choice for that wagon, but I can see where they'd be very popular. They certainly differentiate the car from most others. An easy change, but expensive.
