So, I went to the yard early to get whatever wagon specific trim parts off it I could before I had to go to work just in case it wouldn't be there for long. Figured I could could grab the fly away panels, roof rack, whatever body mouldings were still intact, and maybe even the rear bumper cover. Heck, might have even gotten the desirable power antenna unit 81X11 mentioned in the initial thread. As expected, it wasn't in the engine removal area where I had seen it last so I asked a mechanic where it might be. He said it would be in the main yard where the older model vehicles were taken. I looked through it twice without spotting it and finally flagged down a loader operator. I described the car and mentioned it was a new arrival and if he knew where I could find it. He replied "Oh, they crushed it right away". I actually felt a little sick to my stomach. Bad enough a decent condition Roady was being junked, but having been immediately crushed for scrap before it's parts could live on on other vehicles (except the engine, I suppose) is just a shame. Sorry to start a new thread on the car, but at least one member expressed interest in it and I wanted to increase the odds that anyone who would have possibly made a special trip would be informed about the situation. The good news is, I met another parts seeker and we got to talking and it turns out he's a Century wagon owner as well. So, the trip wasn't a waste after all.
