Oregon emission law states:
In the Portland area, 1975 and newer model years must be tested .
In the Medford (Rogue Valley) area, vehicles 20 model years old and
newer must be tested

Yes, I was posting it for the California kids out there .

 

We have 1 or 2 more years of emission testing for our old 1988 Isuzu Trooper. At 190k miles with a recent reman engine install, it sails through tests cleanly so that's never been a concern. One less aggrivation and $20 saved though. The Atlanta metro area which encompasses about a 13 county area has FINALLY recently emerged from being out of compliance to fed standards for air quality.

Sounds like a good bill to pass in Cali.
