Hello everybody. Ive been a wagon lover since my first Volare premier wagon in high school. I was gonna try to restore it but it was too far gone. Instead I got a replacement and its slowly coming together...Slowly Going Plum Crazy (Technically In Violet for Plymouth) and a big block 383
Plum crazy 383 Volare wagon. I think you'll be the first one here with one like that. Welcome aboard. Got any stripes or graphics planned for it once its painted? Maybe Volare Road Runner stripes?
I know its gonna need some form of stripes but I havent thought about which one I want to go with. Its a base model wagon so no trim on the doors and no roof rack. May be a little too much of one color. Im thinking of the blackout hood and a six pack scoop (6BBL for the Plymouth version, everybody knows the color and scoop by what the Dodges called them). Going for a white interior also
to the wagon train, CC. It appears you are an ACTUAL shade tree mechanic! Looks like it's going to be a nice wagon!
Yep a true shadetree mechanic . I do wish I had a garage but I gotta work with what I got. Im hoping for some engine machine work done this winter and maybe at least get it running by spring.
Nothin' wrong with the old shade tree for an engine hoist, CC! Good luck on the build and keep us posted here.
might look kinda cool with the 'cuda/challenger' styled stripes on it...yano the 'flatblack' ones? to the board....cool project !!
Its taking me a little time to round all the stuff up but I think it will turn out pretty decent when I get it done. Looking to make a good Cruiser out of it
Welcome to the madness ! YouLL FIT IN HERE JUST FINE , Can't wait to see MORE pics! , keep us up dated
Looks like his last update was back in October 2011. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=149483#post149483
Yeah, Mello....I remember crashedcruiser. I liked him and especially liked the creative direction he was taking with his car. Another wagon guy that, somehow, fell by the wayside. I miss him and wish he would come back.
