I have a '66 Nova Wagon that I'm trying to setup as a daily driver. When I bought it, I was told "fly in, drive it anywhere', but we all know how that works out in most cases.... Anyway, here's a pic. I need to swap out the steering box and some other steering parts (converting to manual) and chase down some electrical gremlins. After that I hope to start driving it regularly: More pics to come... -LRS
to the wagon train, roofsoc. Well....that wagon sure LOOKS nice! If you said I could drive it anywhere I would believe it! That's a sweet looking wagon. Glad you found us and keep us posted on your progress! Any more pix would be nice, too. I would like to see more of that beauty.
I have a few more pics in this gallery: 66 Nova Wagon I'll post some details on what's been done to the wagon and what needs to be done later. I also have a bunch of photos I've taken of wagons (mostly Novas) over the last few years. -LRS
Welcome! I bought my wagon last July and flew from Kansas City to El Paso, TX to pick it up and drive it home. It took me twice as long as planned and cost me twice as much as budgeted! Nice looking Nova!
Thanks! Your story sounds familiar. Flew into SF from the LA area. Took us two days to get home instead of a 1/2 day! I've had the car for almost a year now, but have just finally found the time/motivation to start figuring out all the problems and get it road worthy.
Welcome... from a fellow "White '66 Chevy II Wagon Owner" I just listed on Ebay last night a really nice '67 Steering Box, and a complete bolt-on Wilwood front brakes with spindles. I've got all of the front steering and idler arm, all new-ish fresh quality parts too. Let me know if I can help ya. Oh, by the way ........ LOVE your Wagon brother!
