Talking about homespun weather tricks, my wife is ALWAYS spot-on with forecasting rain. She watches the flying insects. They fly in small groups and split off in different directions about 2 hours before a cloudless sky turns into rain. Something her dad showed her. Spooky. Anyway, yesterday was cold in the AM, and jacket-warm in the PM. The breeze felt that a caress. We've got about 4 days of -20C weather starting tonite, and back to bikini weather (for polar bears anyway! )
Two Subaru wagons itching to play in the white stuff and not a snowflake to be seen here in Virginia. It's been pretty much the same forecast for weeks now, high in the mid '50s to low '60s. So much the same usually I don't even bother looking at it anymore.
