No I don't really have any plans to modify it, I'll probably keep it all stock. I do want to undo any jury-rigging the previous owner may have done, and clean it up a little. I also want to paint it. It is going to be my practice vehicle for painting so I know what I'm doing when it comes time to paint my Edsel. Nice ride btw!

:Welcome:to the forum. Nice wagon and thanks for the photos. Odd the electrical problem wasn't there at first. Maybe a loose fuse or wire.

I like the Edsel, and that blue Ford wagon brings back alot of memories of my early driving days, but its your Satellite that I really want. That canary yellow color has always been a favorite of mine with that roof line. I thought long and hard about keeping my 67 Coronet hardtop blue when I had it repainted as I had really wanted to go with the 66-69 yellow that I like so well on these cars.

No Fannie that picture wasn't taken today. Actually that's one of the pictures from the person who sold the car to me. I haven't taken any in my driveway yet. If I did today, there would be a dusting of snow on it! Tomorrow there will be a few inches I'm hearing.

Hi Rev and 1tire, thanks for the welcome! My plan for the Edsel is to restore her back to stock. I refurbished the engine a few years ago and drove it to the local shows and cruises for a summer. Car drove nice but looked like crap. I began the restoration two years ago. It's going okay though finding time to do it can be challenging. I removed the interior and had the seats redone with the correct vinyl. The door panels aren't too bad so I'll probably leave them for now. I wasn't planning on doing the headliner either but I have to replace the windlace and I think that will affect the headliner, not sure though. Right now I'm working on the body. Here is a link to a blog I keep semi-regularly (well maybe not that often, I still haven't got the hang of this blogging thing. http://kurtsedsel.blogspot.com/ I'm a novice at bodywork (well car work in general) so I've been learning as I go (sometimes by my mistakes).
