AND... i once was the proud owner of a 86 Sprint, tho it was not a turbo. Was an auto with 3 neutral gears. the shift pattern was like this. P-N-N-N-2-1, so I bombed it 18 miles to work at 60mph in 2nd gear for over 18 months. if i needed to back it up, i opened the door and skateboarded it back with one foot. HaHa I pad $200 for it and a week later the tranny started slipping in those 3 gears, sod it for $300 2 years later to a guy who wanted the motor and some body parts for his.
My dad bought a little white '83 LeCar for "My mom" though I was really the only one who drove it. Nifty little 5-speed with the cloth top; my first convertible(ish). Louis (as in Louis LeBeau of Hogan's Heros fame), was fun to drive but not too good in snow. Saddly, it, didn't fair well against a '74 Pontiac Ventura(Nova), driven by a guy, stoned out of his mind, who drove out in front of me, upon exiting the interstate's enterance ramp one fateful evening. Cops figure he had to have been traveling the wrong way for miles... The little French coupe gave it's life but saved that of myself and 3 friends. Ya kinda have to appreciate that, wagon or not.
haha 200 dont sound too bad, but makin 100 off of it sounds even better !! my sister in law says she would have never gotten rid of it if it wasnt for the front end starting to rust out ! damn this salt rust !!
is this another "ugly car" thread??? As for the Fiesta, I am ashamed to say I owned 2 of them. Had to own 2, one was for parts!!!!!
Well, Mr 5punks, let's see some of those Fiestas please sir! The Fiesta is the holy grail for many of our members here.
Oh no! This is thread for one of the most beautiful wagons ever made. It's just that specific wagon the OP mentioned hasn't shown up yet......so we went off on a tangent - which we are wont to do here on occasion..... This is a Fiesta - a '57 Olds Fiesta to be exact:
shoulda clarified............ FORD FIESTA! LOL. I can say this for the shoe box Ford, it hold up well in a high speed rollover!
