Thanks for the link, man what a beauty!

Joe, you better contact that guy and make sure it gets the proper sound and performance. Maybe something with vacuum assists???

Couldn't get into the 'about' area, as I didn't want to register, but I'm assuming the following......

    - 2 door 64/65 Chevelle wagon body
    - Obviously a '64 GTO front clip and doors
    - 1/4 panels taken from that same '64 GTO, modified to fit the wagon.
    - Engine and interior taken from '04 GTO......

    Beautiful........

    Can't believe he used a '65 - 1800 made, and they built like 6600 64's!
Quarters are stock, as are the doors - all 'A' body fenders, 64 + 65 had the same contours on the top rear - Chevy + BOP. Maybe 66 + 67 too!
I've seen a few Buicinos, Oldminos, and Ponchinos from El Caminos.
    Nice, though!

    Just noticed one thing....
The builder would have had to take the Chevelle wagon door shells (the passenger doors, not the tail gate) and graft the GTO outer door skin to them. Not a dificult job.

Hardest part of the body would have been the quarter panels....

Not a 'What if Pontiac had made a.....' type of custom. More of a resto-mod. It's got a '04 GTO engine and interior as well.

Krash - the nose of any A-body bolted right on!!
Front door edges, even at the top, were the same contours!!
I used the GTO door panels - perfect fit! Buckets, too!
P/S box fit - quicker, but had to file the tapered hole larger. [hand fit?]
Early A bodies were very interchangeable!!

Oh, I understood that - the body / chassis design had certain fixed points. All I was saying basically is that there were other points to the outer sheet metal that makes them different. In the case of the '64 Le Mans / GTO you'll see a wide panel in the lower half of the body side that stands out from the rest of the side. The quarter panel also has a unique kick-up where the quarter window is on a 2-door.

If the builder tried using the Chevelle wagon doors without putting the GTO skins on it, you would definitely see that they wouldn't match the GTO fenders.
