rusty dented fenders or dented rusty fenders and Trevor. Hope all of you have fun here in the station wagon forum. Get yourself a rusty Edsel and have fun repairing the fenders and other dented rusty parts.
Welcome aboard. This quest for a 60 Edsel wagon could be long interesting one. That will be one very rare wagon. Since production on the 1969 Edsel stopped before the 1960 calendar year ever began, there were only about 275 wagons ever built of the 1960 model (including both 2 and 3 seat models). Good luck.
Thanks I will. Rust is my favorite color Thanks. The rarity of it has alot to do with why I want it. I think that body style would make such a cool sled, but with how few were made, and how fewer are left, I wouldn't feel right to butcher it, so I want to restore one to new. BUT. A '59 Villager...... now we are talking SLED. I'm talkin' surface rust all over, dirty whitewalls, no hubcaps, slammed to the ground, baby. With a blown 427. Oooh yeah. (there I go dreaming again)
Well you're in luck. Here's your project. It's in IL which is a one-day drive from PA. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Edse...5223291?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item1e69deba7b
Yes, I've seen that on there already LOL. All I would do to that baby is put the motor in it, fix the lights, and get on the road. Drive that baby as-is. Unfortunately the holidays have me tapped. It will be a couple years at least till I get a project.
