    Am I wrong in thinking that $4500 is a lot of money for this car? :49:

    Yeah, I think it's been a long time since Pinto and $4500 could be used in the same sentence.

    Apart from the go-faster stripes, rims, and hood "scoop" this doesn't look like much to me. It might be a 27 year old survivor but that's about all it's got going for it.

    It does have some interesting pieces to it that makes it a bit more than an 'ordinary' Pinto wagon: Sport steering wheel, A/M alloys, custom tube grill; has the larger 2.3 engine - ripe for a Thunderbird Turbo coupe conversion.

    It would need considerably more pieces for me to pay $4500 for it.

    Yep.:yup: I think it's a good car for the Pinto-inclined but I can't imagine a $4500 inclination.

    IMO the good: stance, rims, wheel arch chrome, grill. Definitely not for $4,500, but possibly for close to 2K.
