NOTE: This is not my wagon nor do I know the owner. I'm just sharing an ad that I found online. http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1974-ford-pinto-wagon-W0QQAdIdZ339147776
Yeah, I think it's been a long time since Pinto and $4500 could be used in the same sentence. Apart from the go-faster stripes, rims, and hood "scoop" this doesn't look like much to me. It might be a 27 year old survivor but that's about all it's got going for it.
It does have some interesting pieces to it that makes it a bit more than an 'ordinary' Pinto wagon: Sport steering wheel, A/M alloys, custom tube grill; has the larger 2.3 engine - ripe for a Thunderbird Turbo coupe conversion.
IMO the good: stance, rims, wheel arch chrome, grill. Definitely not for $4,500, but possibly for close to 2K.
Who knows? I put my Bobcat out today for 3800. I will be posting it up here tomorrow with the big secret station wagon forum discount. I started a thread a while back "70 something bobcat" All I know is that it is a HOOT. You should see the double takes at 70 mph Sent from my handheld http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=146851#post146851
, Yeah! Rims, missing hood 'go fast stripes' (why?)...did I mention the rims.............. No, not a $4500 car IMO
