I have my One Fifty Wagon for 20 +/- years. It's more of a hot rod than a classic cruiser. Look forward to being involved in the forum. David
Got to get a handle on how this forum works, I made a lengthy reply and posted more pictures and clicked the submit button and off they went to never...never land never to be seen again. I will continue to try to post more details and pictures, bare with me. David
Ok, I have been able to post a few more pictures in the "Gallery"....there are some before paint, during paint prep and after paint. I bought my wagon at the Pomona Swap Meet in 1991 when I lived in Pasadena, ca. The car was built in LA and spent most of it's life in the San Fernando Valley. The total amount of rust on the car would fit on an 8"X11" sheet of paper, it still has it's original floors as well. It has 208 louvers punched in the hood and has been nosed, decked and pinstriped. The wheels are Halibrand with 215X60 15 in the front and 255X60 15 in the rear. The bumpers are custom made smoothies, no mounting bolts and bumper guards. One coil was cut giving it a slight rake and disc brakes were added in the front. I moved to Florida in May so one of the first things, after moving stuff into the house, was install Classic Auto Air, now I can stay cool while driving my wagon. David
David. The '56 has alwayz been my Fave of the 3 yearz. I noticed one thing missing from your pix tho'. You're missing the bumper sticker that sayz: PRAY FOR ME, I DRIVE HIWAY 19--- Couldn't help myself
I didn't know there was a Highway 19 bumper sticker that warns you about the crazy drivers that travel on that road. Thanks for letting me know. David
