That is 9.9% drop dead stunning:thumbs2:, I even like the look of the mags...and I don't like mags. Just me and my 2 bits, would prefer the origonal stearing wheel as IMO the aftermarket ones just never look rite in a old ride, but hacking holes in the door panels for speakers just makes me..................

    Beautiful wagon though:thumbs2:

I didn't notice the speaker holes in panels that when I first viewed the pics. Yeah, that's a downer for sure.

The speakers, rims, steering wheel, and CD player kinda wreck it for me.

All very easy items to restore back to stock if you want. The overall interior quality on this one might be better than "Part I" VC judging from the door panel pics. Still at 8100 with 3 days left.

It's definitely minor. Now, if it was a 66 Caprice in that condition, I'd be all over it!!!

OhMyGosh...is that a beauty, or what?!?!?!?! A feast for the eyes! In that condition bet it is the best, for that year, in the country. Will be interesting to watch the bids. Guesses on the reserve? If it were mine, would not take less than $16k for it, otherwise...drive it forever, for no loss. Just a wonderful experience to see a wagon like that nowadays...thanx for posting it, Moto...

"I HAVE GIVEN YOU AS MUCH INFORMATION I CAN BASED ON MY KNOWLEDGE OF THIS VEHICLE"
Code words for "Hey sorry, nobody told me and I know nothing about cars even though I've been selling them for 30 years, I know nothing , I see nothing, I hear nothing"... after you get ripped off.

I've done a few show winning restos including a Vista Cruiser and think I know what things are supposed to look like when they're done and that car isn't it. Not one of the nicest one around by a long shot, mine was one of the best original Vista restos in the country and I'll stake anything on it.
The underbody and engine compartment detailing is a hack job, looks like it was spraybombed over dirt, check the rear end and rusting trans pan, suspension components look untouched, rust breaking out everywere . That's not the original paint or woodgrain either.
The dual Flowmaster exhaust and underdash gauges being period Olds factory options is a good one.:biglaugh:
Nice driver, not a show car or a time capsule, I'd take it for 9K at the most.

I agree it's not a show car but how often do you drive show cars? I think its a great driver and thats what most people want, including me. I would change the steering wheel but thats about it.I agree its not likely original paint or woodgrain but that means less work and money for the next owner. And I dont think 9k will buy it based on the last '67 bringing 14,900.

I wouldn't have paid more than 7,500 for it. That would be top value, to me. It would take a bit of work for me to get it where I want it.

I know it's just personal taste, but the VC1 looked so much better with the stock wires and white walls on it, let alone the steering wheel. Put the original back on, please.
I agree with everybody else, not as nice as the other but would make a very, very cool daily driver.
