The las batch of Photos I have been posting are from the Tri-City Herald Archives.
Both of my parents grew up in the Tri-City area (Kennewick, Pasco and Richland WA) The Hydro plane races on the Columbia river are a big deal even to this day. Back when they were growing up it was a major deal, and was attended by an enormous percent of the local population.

In this next Photo there is a picture of racing action and a few vehicles. I cannot be certain, but there is a chance that the Plymouth station wagon in this photo was My grandparents family car, the one that is currently sitting in my garage.

I blew up the page. Looks like there's something on the RT 'D' pillar, just above the bottom edge of the side glass Could be a hand, or maybe your head.......

Amazing how every one of these 60's photos has a wagon in it. Now, you almost never see them.

That one drive-in photo is fairly famous...

he had to time everything so the jet was on the screen just as the train was coming by...notice how the train is lit by spotlights...

Bought my wife's engagement and wedding rings here, in 1973. Photo appears older that that, though.
