I've made contact with the owner,, its good! I'd buy but the shipg to Ky is 1200 miles and thats throws it out of budget... anyone know a independent driver that might be going across country:dancing:

It looks to be in pretty good shape. Nice AMC. What was the last year of Rambler before it became AMC. I'm thinking 65 or 66.

I think "no wrought" is supposed to be "no rot" which I guess means "no rust." It looks like a decent wagon.

SNOOTER: Some of the cars were sold as Ramblers in 67; like the Rambler American,, Rambler Rebel in 67 ( was Rambler-Classic model in 66) But the Ambassador shows AMC in the marketing for 67. The Marlin had Rambler attached to it in marketing but not on the car itself.
Then in 68 All the cars had AMC on the marketing. One had the term Rambler: "AMC Rambler American". Then in 69 this American was now called "Rambler".. From 1958 to 68 they used the term "American".
Last use of the Rambler name was 1969 ( on what used to be the American). In 1969 all cars had the term AMC-Rebel or AMC-Ambassador, AMC Javelin etc.:tiphat:

Thanks for the info, Cadi. I knew it was in the late sixties, just wasn't sure of the exact years.

I am from California , but currently live in Hawai
Anyone snatch this thing up yet, GOD I cannot wait to get out of Hawaii and back to California. To where the cars still have there rocker panels and wheel wells still in place. This thing looks pretty clean!!!!!!

UPDATE: on this possible 1969 SST purchase, we found another wagon on the east coast that we are buying and close enough to pick up.:bouncy:
