True, wonder what was the seller's point of posting that picture? Nice color scheme though on body.

Yah, nice on the body, but wrong for the interior.
I don't care for the burgandy interior with the white paint.

I'm biased though, because I have a dark cherry metallic Caprice with the same colour interior.

Not crazy about Chevy graphics on a Buick. Even if they look just about identical. Just my unsolicited two cents!

I agree. Buicks and Chevs both have their fan group mixing the two seems a good way to alienate a portion of the buyer market.

...a paint job and a set of rims does not equal a $6000 car.

Alot toupher to sell a car with a custom paint job, what looks beautiful to the owner at the time may only look good so a small portion of the buying market (if none at all, we've seen that before). In this case I think the custom paint was done nice.....but this paint job would keep me looking at others.

Yup...looks like at the last minute he noticed that the driver's floor mat was grungy so he took it out....should have at least picked up some of the stuff under it if he was too lazy to get the vacuum cleaner out.
Sorry...I have to say that I really hate the paint job on that car.

It's missing the wood trim on the passenger door...wonder what else may be missing?

I see a lot of these GM B-bodies in ads (particularly the 'standard' upholstery Roady's...) with drivers seats that seem to have really crushed foam - way sunk down. Anybody had these seats rebuilt (refoamed)?

I dismantled the seats in my '94 Roadmaster when I sanded and painted the seat frames. The foam piece is custom shaped but replacement would be really simple. I'm anxious to have a go a doing something about this. The foam density doesn't seem to be any different than what you would pick up at a fabric store. The Roady rides like a buckboard compared to my Parisienne and I think the difference is that the Pontiac has those cushy Brougham seat cushions. I'll probably tackle this next summer.

WOW...never heard anyone complain about a rough ride in a 90's Roady or Cappy. Must be something wrong besides the seats, Wiz.

*Hartford* Craigslist? The car in New Hampshire! It's been posted and reposted on the New Hampshire Craiglist for at least three months and has been on e-Bay at least once. For that money, there's a 43,000 mile '93 just over the Massachusetts side of the border.

The ride in my Roadmaster is pretty good. Everyone comments on how nicely it rides. The issue is that the Parisienne rides so much better. I dont really have an issue with how the Roadmaster rides but I'd be over the moon if I could get it to ride as well as my Pontiac. I replaced the rear shocks with Severe Service when I got the wagon and the front shocks with OEM when they started to leak a while ago. I still need to get those Severe Service swapped out for OEM or maybe Bilsteins so that could be part of it.

Yeah...if you like a nice ride...replace with the stock stuff. Some guys are always trying to upgrade for "performance" and then complain that the ride is harsh. Depends on what you want out of a car but if you like a nice comfy ride don't put high performance shocks on it. I presume you have air shocks in the rear?
