Well, I probably should start carrying my camera around, and hopefully catch that Ford LTD wagon "hearse"! I see it often when I'm riding the UCSF campus shuttle down Fell Street toward the UCSF Medical Center on Parnassus Ave. And any other interesting wagons I see!

Those other wagons I mentioned were used for filming "Harvey Milk", but the filming is over now and they've gone back to whatever warehouse they came from.

Better than rosy-coloured glasses! They still have that old-world charm. :)

Finally, yesterday, I was able to get a photo of the Ford LTD wagon hearse! It's a really cheap conversion; the owner just put fake landau bar stickers in the rear quarter windows, a yellow gumball light on the dash, a blue reflective strip on the tailgate, and a gurney inside (making it a first call car). It's one of a fleet of cheap hearse conversions owned by a San Francisco funeral home.

Here are the other two hearse conversions at that funeral home--a van and a Suburban, both with landau bar stickers.
