Don't know why you get excited about these, Cyber. I had a Dodge Aires as a company car back in 1986. 'Deluxe' interior, 2.2 engine, automatic, PS/PB/AC was about all it had. I hated it. Drove like a boat.

    I like them too =)

My grandparents bought a new Plymouth Reliant wagon back in the day. A maroom woody with red interior. I was just a kid but loved that car.. was so mad at them when they got rid of it because in their words "it became unreliable" all it needed a tune up.. it'd stall in the rain

I like 'em too. With the 2.2...preferably with the turbo. My favorite of these, though, is the LeBaron woody!:D I had a LeBaron vert when I had my car lot. A woody....loved driving that car.

I drive by a convertable on my route.. its white and $1,500 never stopped to really look though since its 1am i'm through there.

Not many of those K cars survived seems. I remember in the early 90's they could be had all day for $50 with blown head gaskets mint cond in and out. Had a friend that'd buy and flip them.. or at least try to.. he was a bit of a flake LOL

Yup...blown head gaskets were a problem. Lots of heat generated. IIRC they had no water jacket between the cylinders in the block and it was pretty thin there, too. But, if you took care of them they were fun cars.

I'm not entirely sure about it myself Krash. My '84 Reliant wagon was one of my first cars. My Dad's '81 Reliant sedan was the first brand new car my parents ever owned and theirs was indestructible. I had a lot of fun in it and it never gave me a lick of trouble. Ultimately I lost compression in two cylinders and got rid of it but I've always been nostalgic about those cars.

Same here.. I have fond memories come back. Weekends at my grandparents lake house.. going to the movies to see Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure LOL and she even took some of us kids down to Florida to Disney in that car :)

Takes ya back to a time of carefree innocence when there was no stress and everything was right in the world

I loved Bill & Ted!! We drove to see Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey in my buddy's Mom's '84 Fairmont...left the lights on while in the theatre...long night. I had forgotten about that Fairmont until you mentioned Bill & Ted. :) We put a lot of miles on that Fairmont.
