..with a starting bid of $5000. Those NADA numbers seem kind of high to me. Looks like a nice vehicle overall.

They seem WAY high to me, Kev!
Nice looking wagon. It HAS been touched up and I don't like the way the driver's door fits & a few other things but I still like the car.

I don't know who it was in the last week or so that was quoting prices for early/mid 70's full size Buicks/Olds wagons, but they were in the $3000-$5000 range from what I recall.

I think it was Jaunty. Funny thing is...you add the word Classic on the price book cover and the prices go way up.:D If I was still in the used car biz I would have all the NON-classic dealer books and the price of that wagon would be WAY less.:yup: I would bet that if one of those was at the dealer wholesale auction I could buy it for less than $1500. On a day that the action was slow I may be able to buy it for less than a thousand. Dealers are getting smarter but most of them don't mess with old stuff....especially wagons in this day and age.

I agree on that NADA valuation as well.
The only mid-sized GM wagons I've seen in the $15k price range (or more) is the super-rare '73 Malibu SS wagon. Although nice, these wagons just arn't bringing that kind of money. I'm thinking this should sell somewheres around $7-8k.....

I think THAT'S high. Remember that little Olds I posted way back from AZ? That was an honest survivor totally rust free with an Olds 350 for $2K! I still wish I would have bought that car.

She sure is a nicely optioned wagon. But for $6,500? Nah, tooooooo much. Needs and alignment, exhaust work, and then there is the rust popping out between the hatch and roof, no dome light lens. Makes me wonder what else is missing or just not right for that asking price.

Yup...I think it's priced high for an auction starter...it has 4 days left and the seller started the bidding at $5K with a BIN price of $6,500. No bids so far.

What kills me is the seller says he's selling with no reserve.....
.....doesn't a starting bid of $5k= this is my reserve??

Nice looker though, I don't mind brown on tan at all.... how many brown cars do you see anymore?
