This T&C belonged to a guy that was a member here. The car is in our Gallery. I wanted to buy it 3 years ago but he wanted $14K at the time. A gorgeous car that I would kill for! I can't figure out what the price is now?

Wix...here's todays ad on that wagon...just calls it a 73 station wagon. No brand, etc.
I think this one IS too good to be true! If not, I may be on my way...

I'll be darned...there IS an Albuquerque, Nebraska. Never heard of it.:confused:
I have to say...with all those different pix, one of which is an old ad, I have my doubts that ANY of them are the actual car. BUT...like Wix says...COULD be legit. Or not.

 

He called me back. Sound like a real deal. He said I could fly in and drive it back to Phoenix. But now I'm not sure if the car is in New Mexico or Nebraska. 505 is a New Mexico number though. I don't think I can make the time right now to go but I'm thinking about it.

 

OK...wait a minute. I just did a MapQuest form here to Albuquerque, Nebraska and it finds NO Albuquerque, Nebraska! It appears that there IS no Albuquerque, Nebraska. Since this car has been placed more than one time you would think that the seller would have changed the NE to NM if he had made a mistake. And...if you live in NM and are selling a car from NM...how do you make that mistake in the first place?? This ad has peaked my interest. azblackhemi tried the number and did get an answering machine. I will be surprised if he gets a call back, but, if he does I sure hope hemi lets us know what this seller has to say. I'm getting more and more convinced that the ad is a scam, but, I've been wrong before!

 

OOPS...looks like I'm wrong AGAIN! Our posts must have crossed, hemi. There is no Albuquerque, Nebraska so the car is in NM. I would go for this car in a heartbeat if it is in good shape except I am 1400 miles away! If the pic is of the real car...the exterior sure looks good!

 

$1000 for that? If it's legit, it's the deal of the century. The car looks pretty good, even at 3 X's the price I would think. Somebody grab this puppy.

 

So I spoke with someone who knows Albuquerque and he said that the "NE" stands for "Northeast" since the city is divided roughly North/South & East/West by the two highways 40 and 25.
