Hey all, I'm a newbie to the site I thought I'd stop by and say hello. I'm primarily a 60's Mustang Guy .But I spent most of my childhood cruising around in Wagons (mostly GM),Of course being a kid I thought they were dorky. It wasn't until I was older and wiser that I realized how cool wagons were. That said I bought myself a 1968 Ford Country Squire A few years back ,it has a 390 with disc brakes, etc. As far as cars go I'm not a show car guy but it's probably about a 20 footer.Sadly I don't drive it nearly as much as I should. I also own a newer car /kid hauler/roadtrip machine A 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T(I think it's considered a wagon?) ,Which I love. Anyhow I'm a big fan of Wagons and at some point when I get myself sorted out and thin out My Mustangs a bit I hope to buy a 64/65 Falcon wagon.
Welcome. And to answer your question, the Magnum definitely fits the definition. Too bad they didn't have a longer production span. Guess sales weren't there because folks have no taste these days buying Pilots and Scions.
to the waon train, 66hpgt. Hmmmm...we have two members that just joined and they both have the rare Magnum R/T! Wow. What are the odds of that!?:confused:You got pix? We love pix.
Thanks for the warm welcome. The Magnum was a no brainer for me it was either that or a minivan so I said what's the coolest thing I can buy to haul kids around in? Hmmm it's a station wagon with a chopped top and a Hemi engine. As far as photos of my wagons I'll have to get to work on that I have some great photos in my crashed harddrive. Here's a photo of one of my ponies (sorry it's not a wagon) I also had to include a photo of the coolest wagon ever built.
